New Doctor Who Trailer

Radio Theatre Opening marks the end of another week in The Doctor Who Zone!

Our new Radio Theatre opened this week and today a special play with a special prize marked this occasion. We felt it was worth a few pictures on the blog. So here they are. Special thanks to the building skills of Hoipoloi Gurbux for this theatre and Ebak Naglo for running this new era of the Who Zone Radio Theatre! The event was opened by Who Zone owner Kat Kassner and the photos that no-one-actually-asked-him-to-take were by Laredo Lowtide

VNV Experience at Who Zone

Sunday was the staging ground of the VNV Experience - a sound and music tribute event that was massively popular last year at the Who Zone WhoFest. A truly spectacular ambiance. Valentine Day had their return. Filmmaker Marc Boxen caught their last song on film for those who didn't see it, or perhaps wanted to enjoy the experience once more. Burning Bush at The Doctor Who Zone

We had the rock band performers Burning Bush on the Main Event Stage this Sunday. A couple hours that brought in a whole host of people. At the beginning people watched in small groups not sure where the band would take the night, but everyone was dancing and having a right old giggle soon enough.

Neil Gaiman writing Who episode for Matt Smith's second series.

Science fiction and fantasy author Neil Gaiman has confirmed he will be writing an episode of Doctor Who for Matt Smith's second series as The Doctor.

Gaiman broke the news in a special message sent to SFX Weekender as part of his acceptance speech for winning Best Comic at the SFX Awards.
