NLS War TARDIS modding!

We've featured New London System owner Simon Osei's mod work on the blog before - then it was for the NLS Galaxy Explorer (click here to see what he did). This time its the WAR Tardis.

All NLS Time Capsules are mod, so you can adjust and change them as you see fit. Have a look at some of the great work he's done. I love the depth and sheer expansiveness to his work.

Money from the NLS Time Capsules goes to supporting the Doctor Who Zone sim.

These next two are works in progress!

Done some mods to NLS stuff yourself? Find Harold Saxondale or Laredo Lowtide in world and we'll post them here!

Burning Bush at The Doctor Who Zone

We had the rock band performers Burning Bush on the Main Event Stage this Sunday. A couple hours that brought in a whole host of people. At the beginning people watched in small groups not sure where the band would take the night, but everyone was dancing and having a right old giggle soon enough.

Anyway, enough talk: more music! Enjoy! Thanks to Marc Boxen for taking the footage and compiling into an excellent edit!

The Inter-Wire hits Baker's Square!

Wotcha guv, it's me, ol, Lowtide about to take you on a tour of our latest area of New London - Baker Square. Named in part after London's Baker Street, 'ome to the legendary Sherlock Holmes, and also in homage to the classic Doctors Tom and Colin Baker.

Before New London proprietor, Kat Kassner (and her latest police box project) is The Inter-Wire Tea Rooms - this is the Victorian base camp for The Doctor Who Zone blog. Let's 'ave a look inside 'er guv.

Ahh, the office of our 'umble blog. Some readin' material (for those who can read and those who like to crayon in the pictures), some coffee, a Vitex machine with a surprise (trust me on this), a few posters to lighten the place up and of course a large big URL to remind you just where you should be pointing your inter-wire browsers!

There's our Twitter page on the wall - http://www.twitter.com/doctorwhozone - and an ageing Tron machine on the far wall.

Baker Square will be undergoing some more renovations soon. Watch this space!

The Doctor Who Zone A-1 Sci-Fi Mall!

Lowtide lurking outside the A1 Mall, just north of Big Ben (the entry point into The Doctor Who Zone's New London area). Memorial Way, the plaza dedicated to those who in the Doctor Who legacy have passed on to the other side, is the entry point to the A1 mall. That's the building there. The one with "A1" on it. Inside you can either go to the left and take the elevator to the shopping floor, or the right and head up through the magic door. Or you can play Cookies in the foyer. Your call.

So you decided to head to the mall? Good on you! This is the first floor! Hyperloom, Hands of Omega, Novatech, Snook, Jw security, Archangel network, Gallifur, M&M, Space cowboy, Sium.. all rest on the first floor. That's TARDIS systems, organic life, great simulators, clothes, security. But there's more. Up to le Second floor boys and girls..

Take the stairs or the lift up to the second floor - here there are a whole host of smaller but no less fascinating stores. Thomas Conover, Vortech, SF labs, Neurolabs, ER, She Wants Revenge, Box of Waffles, Scifi Designs, Blackkat Choppers, Satyrkitty, The Hoi Shop, Vk Labs, Compton Constructions, Allspark Labs.. We have Transformers, Doctor Who motorbikes, sexy clothing, Star Trek clothing, Stargate items and a host of eclectic wonders!

So if you have a few Lindens and looking for a really A-1 Sci-fi Mall, why not visit the, erm, A1 Sci-fi Mall?
